Porch air awning recomendation - 10% off = £167.
I have no association with the supplier.
About 3 weeks ago I bought one of these: http://www.leisuresalesaccessories.c...h-260-air.html We had been looking for a new porch awning and had visited Leisuresales in Cheshire a couple of weeks before purchase. We were open to the possibility of an air awning due to their ease of erection and our age. We have just returned from 4 nights away in our caravan in Cumbria and had chance to try it out and we are very pleased with it at the price. There are 10% discount leaflets placed around the store and they are valid till 30th April IIRC. The leaflets say not for awnings but we still got that discount. They only have blue as in their advert but they are a darker blue than shown in their advert - I'm glad about that. The awning comes with pegs, awning skirt, storm straps, ladders and a manual air pump with a pressure gauge. There weren't enough pegs though unfortunately. The awning has provision for additional vertical ( optional ) poles to be fitted at the caravan sides to reduce draughts and has loops and pockets to attach them. Sponge vertical closures for there are embedded in the fabric. There is also provision for an additional central roof pole and velcro pads are present to enable attachment. What is not mentioned in the advert is the presence of velcro pads for the attachment of two additional side roof poles. We had very windy weather during our time away and I don't think any of the roof poles would be essential in any weather conditions - it held up very well. The awning comes with storm straps attached. There is one air beam and we were able to erect it quite easily for the first time despite strong winds. IIRC the width is 2.6M and the projection 2.8M - it provides a good floor space with good head height throughout. For £167 ( with the discount ) I think it well worth while. There are multiple internal attached drop loops handy for coat hooks etc. We have two other porch awnings, the best of which is a Bradcot Portico, but that awning is too small for regular use. It IS of excellent construction though - but they are quite expensive. This air awning's material is not up to the quality of the Bradcot's and is light weight but well up to the job for an everyday porch even in inclement weather. I'm well pleased with the purchase and would recommend it for a light weight air porch. Colin
