Default Some parts for my 1997 940 Celebration !

Hi all,

This is my first post some hope I'm not out of order. I inherited the 940 with 79k miles on her now just over 140k. Want to try and restore her to her former glory.

Looking for the following parts if anyone can help:

15'' pholus alloy wheel - No 9173603
Both front Brake back plates - 9140670
O/S front wing
Petrol fuel filter clamp
Exhaust front pipe + CAT
Rear ABS sensor + plug and loom

Cheers,

Paul

I can supply a Pholus - I'll be at Hatton on the Sunday if that's any help.

Cheers mate,

I'm up in Scotland so no chance of being at Hatton. Any chance you could send a quick pic ? How much do you need for it ? Can you please check how much to post to Scotland, will send details over PM ? Do you only have the one ?

Cheers,

Paul.

I've actually got three - I picked up a set of four from a breaker last year and am using one as the spare.

Carriage I don't know about, but I'd think it's quite substantial. What I can do is ask if any Scottish-based VOc members will be at Hatton and ask if they can transport the unit(s), letting you sort out the cost with them.

Default exhaust

If you can wait a few weeks I'll have a full stock exhaust for sale that's come from a 1997 945 Celebration.
Cheers, Carl.

Sounds like a plan !

Would you sell a pair as that would also give me a spare ? How much do you need for them ? Are they in reasonable Nick and are the tyres on or off ? I plan to restore a set if poss so not to fussed if laquer and paint has gone as long as they are restoreable !

Let me know if there is anyone is coming down to Hatton and happy to bring close to Scotland ?
Appreciate your help.

Cheers, Paul.

Hi Carl,
How much do you need for exhaust ?

I think I only need F/Pipe and CAT just now as rest of system seems OK. Was just down at supplier and they have in stock and looks like I don't need to get type 2 CAT as it's pre 2001 which makes a great saving !

Any chance you have the in-line fuel filter clamp if its not rusted and split like mine ?

Paul.

Paul,

If you want two that's fine by me, not least because it would leave some space in SFSS's boot for goodies. They are presently fitted units and in decent condition; I've also got a set of locking wheel-nuts, albeit with only one key that I'll throw in. Price-wise I'm looking for about £80 the pair, plus whatever the cost is of carriage. As I've put a request on the Scottish VOC asking for help in transportation that might not be much.

The alternative is for someone to pick them up en route north from Hatton; let's see if anyone is prepared to help out, otherwise we'll look at carriage.

I'll be at Hatton and can get them as far as Carlisle.
