Default Rear light cluster - bad connection

It seems that I have a bad connection on my rear o/s light cluster as it keep going out and a tap with my hand gets it working again!

Before I run outside and investigate, my understanding is that the negative/earth is to the chassis on these cars (V70 P2 facelift) so there won't be an earth as such and I just need to check the bolts holding it in place to ensure it is earthing to the chassis....is that right? (unless of course it's the live feed but that seems less likely)

Have the same problem on drivers side rear bottom cluster (so called top 2 position lights) gave it a tap worked for a while now not working at all.

Purchased a new holder inserted it nothing happened took it out held the holder up against the reciever at an angle light came on so power there

tried again inserted the holder into the cluster no light came on gave up

maybe a faulty cluster putting it into the garage next week hopefully to rectify the problem
