Jupiterman New Member Last Online: May 30th, 2024 09:40 Join Date: Feb 2023 Location: Anglesey	Rear hatch strut The LHS rear hatch strut (electric open & close) on my wifes XC 40 is making weird noises when opening / closing. I've tried oiling / greasing it but I'm now aware they have internal gear drives and more than likely it will need replacing. Seen them on line for around £160 each. Does anybody have experience of doing this and are they an easy swop. On some forums they mention having them "calibrated". Dread to think what Volvo would charge.
