will this servo fit?
Can anyone tell me if this will fit my 64 1800S? I know the listing says it will but I wondered if anyone has any opinions?
I know the links a bit of a mouthful but it does cut and paste into your browser..I've just tried it! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SERVO-CORTINA-...1%7C240%3A1318

HI Chris,
This looks like the Lockhead replacement kit from the original Girling Mk 2A and is fine for the 1800S, performing more favourably. It is more reliable than the old unit too. Depending on what kind you have, you may have to re-mount your washer bottle, but not hard to do. Gordon |

Do be aware that although they are for an 1800 the Lockheed replacement units are not a direct bolt in. The one in my car is mounted on the inner wing, slightly forward of the original position using a very basic bent bit of metal as a bracket. You may have to fashion your own bracket.

as said above the brackets are a bit basic but do remember they are only charging a £5 for it whick is about right for the time it would take to make one
the unit works quite well too |
