RE: looking fo insurance for 89 440t
Just some hints...
The alloys are Volvo alloys by the sound of it-so don't declare them. The 440 Turbo's came with alloys, so by telling the insurance company it has alloys you're making them think you have aftermarket ones, which will obviously bump the price up. Volvo did also poduce a run of 440's with bodykits on too, so don't tell the insurance company it has a bodykit because again, they will think it's been added to the car and will charge you for it. With regards to insurance companies, i got a really good quote for my 2.0i 440 from Tesco, although some people have not been so lucky. My girlfriends best quote for her Saxo VTR came from Norwich Union of all places, so it may be worth trying them too. Good luck, Dan M
