What type of MPG might one expect from a 2.0 litre fuel injection? For example, would one expect greater efficiency from 2 litre injection versus 2 litre petrol?

might have been drinking. might still be - shall I take this to mean that a petrol engine will actually give better mileage than an injection? still drunk? Ok what might one expect from a 2.3 relative to 2.0 (injection or petrol)? Might the 2.0 litre actually be similar or 'worse' given that it could be working harder? More drink! I thought the question was reasonable-

Or petrol injection vs diesel (injection).

For what it's worth, my 83 with a B21 carb engine averaged 27 mpg.
My 93 with a B200 injection engine averages 32 mpg.
