Wanted mint 200, 700 or 900 series estate
If it were LHD it would be a bonus. Must be TOTALLY rust free and mainly if not totally original paint. Mechanical and interior condition of lesser importance. Manual gearbox preferred. None runner not a problem, can collect nationwide. By totally rust free I mean totally, underneath as well as on top ... Thanks. Good price paid for the right car. This has got to be pretty close to what you're after. Manual LHD 740 estate and it looks pretty mint. The only problems I can see are the non-standard wheel trims and the tints. These would stand out like a sore thumb if it's for a period piece but are easily rectified.

Funnily enough I saw your post late last night and I had already rung the seller. I had some electronic test equipment I had to take for repair to Surrey, so I called to see it earlier this morning and bought it. Picking it up Sunday, much to the wife's disgust as she will have to give me a lift down there. So I will be looking for a B23 block to build and put in it, and perhaps an m90 gearbox unless I can conjure up something stronger. The shell is rust free, no sunroof, manual windows and no air con, so should be less a few unneeded kilos! It's an "H" VIN plate so should be the first of the galvanised shells. I knew keeping the head and big remote wastegate turbo set up off my 244 from yeras back was a good idea. It will live again Thanks for finding the ad. |
