Default T4 HELP needed!!!!

the 2 left hand cylinders on my t4 aren't firing. i purchased this car with apparent buggered turbo, but upon removal of turbo, its pretty damn fine, so replaced the broken oil feed pipe and all other gaskets and seals. turned her over, no horrible banging of thumping, so went to fire her up, eventually she fired but only on the 2 right hand cylinders with the funny looking sensors on them.

the engine fault management light is on in the dash.

next thing is a compression test obviously. whats the compression meant to be?

does anyone have any ideas what electricial problems there could be to make it not fire on 2 cylinders??

perhaps the coil packs are buggered (funny looking sensors)

you need to get you error codes pulled.

seems daft, but how do i pull a error code??

i pulled many things, but not one of them!

does it have anything to do with copious amounts of lambrini, lambert and butler specials, spitting on the floor??

or just hanging around in a field with some grease waiting for a passing sheep?

or, is it something that i need to take the motor to volvo dealer for?? or is it something a specialist (non dealer) can do?

oh, and all of the spark plugs spark when not in the cylinder.

sounds like youve been on the juice my friend

my advice is, " never take it to a volvo dealership"

find an independant, plug box o tricks into car, error code that caused light to come on will reveal itself

just because there all sparking , doesnt meen there doing it at the right time.

maybee

oh, & what plugs are you using?, are the gaps correct?

13 amp plug in 1. 415v 5 pin plug in another. 16 amp CEE FORM plug in 1 and a kinky botty plug in the other. the gaps are, 1st 1 is in devon, 2nd one is in kilkenny, 3rd is in cambodia and the 4th is in toronto.

maybe thats something to do with the starting issue.

i'll check what plugs and the gaps tomorrow and post the evidence.

yeah, my buddy who is a rather good mechanic said it was miss firing big time.
