V70 TDi Boost gauge + MBC
So I've got a ronbox installed on my V70, superb bit of kit can really feel it working, but have now got the urge to optimise it's running and been reading through the threads on the subject.
Planning to fit a temporary boost gauge in order to set up the MBC that I want to fit. Just to clear a few things up before I set off... 1 - where is the best place to T the feed for the gauge in for an accurate reading? 2 - the MBC is installed on the metal pipe running against the turbo with banjo fittings each end? Wide open should give stock boost and gradually wind it in till boost sits around 18 PSI under load? Many thanks |

Yes you have the right idea for the mbc. For the gauge you can come off the pipe from the top hose to bcs or I prefer teeing off the line to the map sensor on the the end of the inlet manifold.

Thanks for the reply Martin, your posts I've read are definitely a help. I'd imagine it's worth replacing alot of the rubber hoses to and from the map sensor etc as they look quite brittle.
Are the lines all 4mm I/D? |

They are yes. I will be updating my project thread soon I have a lot of new goodies, including bigger turbo (again!), to go on so more power is on the horizon
