Default Cree led's

Does anyone know where I can get some dipped beam Cree Led's? I ordered some off eBay and despite working they couldn't fit within the aperture of the holder in the light.

I've managed to fit led's to the rear, just sourcing indicators.

Many thanks

They aren't legal to fit for use on a road and give off a rather obnoxious beam pattern for other motorists. I wouldn't bother if I was you.

This has been done in detail a few times. Don't waste your money - LED's cannot work properley when retrofitted into a headlamp designed for a Halogen lamp. They might seem to work better becuase they throw lots of light around - but they won't have the correct beam pattern, are likely to dazzle other drivers and fail the MOT. As has been pointed out - they're not legal either.

Technically as long as they are the legal wattage of 60W and are fitted in the projector type lens they are legal. I wouldn't bother though, get something like Osram Nightbreakers instead.

No, they aren't legal.

They won't be e-marked so would not be legal to fit for road use. The e-marking of the projector or mirror assembly is dependent on an e-marked bulb being fitted. It will also only be for a specific type of bulb so you couldn't legally fit an e-marked Xenon bulb to a car (from a car with factory fit HIDs for instance) with headlights designed to be used with a filament bulb.
