I have just replaced my pollen filter and on the top it said Volvo with the part number and it also said Mahle.

For reference the oil filter said Volvo and also said Mann.

Mann and Mahle are OEM suppliers, probably supply Volvo the part you will buy and if not will be to Volvo standard anyway. Bosch use parts from a n other and crossland used to be good but are now rock bottom prices made somewhere.

Use Volvo, Mann or Mahle.

Don’t know about Framm, they used to be really good but I don’t think they are now.

I wouldn’t use crossland myself.

I bought a patten part from ECP during a sale.
When I came to fit months later (when it was not raining!) I discovered the replacement was not the same shape or size!
I ended up buying from FRF volvo swansea with their discount code.

Pattern parts are fine as long as you buy a decent brand such as Mann, Mahle or Purflux. The next pollen filter that I'll be fitting will be a Mann Frecious Plus one. On paper they are a considerable improvement over all other types of pollen filter, and they cost around the same as the genuine Volvo article.
