Default Wanted: seat belt tongues to BORROW

Hello

I'm ready to place an order for my new inertia reel seat belts. The front ones will be made up using my existing hardware, which means I need to send the supplier a pair of front seat belt 'tongues' - the chrome bits that clip into the receiver between the seats so they can make up the new belts while I'm still using the old ones in the car. So I'm wondering if someone out there has a pair of tongues (or complete belts) they'd be willing to swap for mine, and be without them for about 3 weeks, after which time I'll send them my old ones back?

I wouldn't recommend fitting my belts to your car because one of them has a bit of wear on the webbing, but the tongues are in perfect working order and are nice and shiny.

Obviously I'd cover all postage costs.

Many thanks,

Andy.

Any of these any help to you?

Sounds a strange and costly way of making seat belts up.

Yes James! The two in the bottom right of your picture look exactly the job. Are you able to pm me, as i'm too novice to pm you?

As for strange and costly, I'm getting new inertia front belts fitting to existing hardware, and brand new rear inertia belts with nice chrome hardware, with webbing of the same colour as existing. That lot is costing me 350 squid. Do you think i'm overdoing it? My thinking was i want it to be safe and to look right. Seems a good price but i haven't ordered it yet so i'm open to suggestions.

Hello again. As I'm unlikely to be able to PM, I'm going to throw caution to the wind: my email is andrewthewood@gmail.com - please could you email me with contact details so I can arrange to borrow some belts from you? Thanks.
