Strange loose wire connector by Radio
Hi Guys
Just wondering if someone could tell me what this connector is for? I have a 2009 V70 SE Lux, it has heated seats but no phone or satnav. While I had the front radio facia off the other day sorting something out I noticed a loose connector block not connected to anything. Can anyone give me a clue as to what that would be for. I'm hoping someone may say its for a front with a Bluetooth phone Thanks, Andy |

Tell me the connector size (how many pins) and the wire colours per pin.
The photo shows insufficient detail to determine wire colours. Then I can search through the applicable wiring diagram and tell you what it is for.

Hi, The connector is a flat connector with the pins in a line. There are 5 pins with 4 wires going into it. Looking at it in the photo working from left to right they are.
Pin 1 Empty Pin 2 Black Pin 3 Yellow/Brown Pin 4 Blue/White Pin 5 Green/Blue Many Thanks |

Hunting through the 2009 wiring diagram I cannot find any 5-pin green connector that makes sense
Nothing at all Even the wire colours do not match Are you 100% sure it is MY2009? Maybe it is a 2008 or a 2010 model?

The closest I can think of is for the 4-C suspension control switches, but that should be a 6-pin
I am stumped.

Maybe the Start Control Unit SCU, if you do not have keyless start fitted?

It can only be made in one year, not three. The wiring diagram is valid only for one Model Year. The wiring does change from year to year. So find or double check the model year from the VIN and report here.
