1990 740se

Hi everyone

Here for sale is a lovely 740se 2.0 litre matted to a 5 speed manual box. Its done just under 130,000 with loads of service history and invoices.

Its MOT'd till July and has TAX till the end of March.

Inside is like new, no rips, tears, fag burns, heavy stains on the carpets or funny smells. The main headlining is new and cost over £300 the bit on the sunroof is the original. All the gauges work as do all the dash panel lights.

It has heated front seats, 4x electric windows, electric tilt and slide sunroof, central locking, JVC C.D player with electric aerial, electric heated mirrors, the heater blows hot and the fan blower works on all speeds.

Outside is just as good and looks superb, no rust anywhere and only the odd very small age/miles related mark, I've seen much newer cars with less mileage in worse condition. All badges and trim are complete all the glass is good.

It drives fine, the engine starts fine hot or cold with no smoke or rattles, the temp gauge never goes more than halfway. The gear box selects all gears fine and the clutch is smooth, the back axle doesn't whine. There are no bangs or clunks when driving.

The alloys are nice with minimal kerbing they certainly don't need referbing the tyres are good, the spare is good but the wheel does not match.

The exhaust isn't blowing and the rear half looks almost new.

At some point its been an approved used Volvo and even the number plate might be worth a quid or two???

The only downside I can think off is there is a small dent on the front nearside wing, the last owner was quoted £100 to have it put right.
