Default 940 steering wheel

I need a new steering wheel for my 1993 Wentworth. I have purchased one which is correct but did not have an air-bag fitted which mine does.
I have now bought aother one with an air-bag but the spindle hole is 1 inch in diameter wheras mine is 3/4 inch.
Is there an insert available for the 1 inch one to enable it to fit or do I have to keep looking and add to my expanding collection of steering wheels?

The air bag one might be off a 960 (they have tiltable steering columns) and I think they are different.
You could fit the non aorbag one but you will have to get a few bits to connect the horn up to as the airbag one is different.
Otherwise it's a case of finding another one off a 940.
There is always a chance someone could be interested in your old ones if they are in reasonable condition though.

I've got a good condition leather wheel out of a Sports edition. It'll bolt straight onto an airbag equipped 940.

Hi,
i would be interested in this wheel. The latest one I bought is leather and looks really good but has the inch spindle. Can you just confirm yours has 3/4 spindle and we can do business? Sam
