Idle sticking high.
My idle seems to be sticking form 1500 to 2000 intermitently, i have scrubbed the Idle Control Valve all connecting hoses and filter hoses. no difference. it doesnt happen all the time, and one blip of the throttle brings it down to the correct 800 mark!?!?!?

RE: Idle sticking high.
This problem is usually cleared by cleaning the whole inlet tract (from filter to manifold) including AMM, IACV, Throttle block and the PCV system. This should be done every two years for consiostent running. The use of Optimax should only bring benefits to a clean engine and should not detract from good running. All the best, Peter. |
