1800S Grill Seal
Hi All
Happy Easter! I need to renew the seal that goes between the grill and bodywork on the 1800. Is this a standard product or specific to the 1800? When are CVi opening in 2007 - wish I had as long as a break as they do! Finally why is it that suppliers do not list prices, the only ones on the web that have a fairly comprehensive list is GCP but their price list only lists a very few items. Each time I look for an item it isnt there (grill seal point in question! Cheers Russ |

Try Scandcar in the Netherlands, they list their articles in 's. If you want/need you can call them, they speak English. Just click on your national colours on the right top side from the middle of the site to get the information in English

I know it is nice to get the prices on the web and I hate the telephone but there are some very friendly and knowledgeable suppliers here in the UK. If GCP sells it then your local Volvo dealer should be able to get it if you give them the part number. I find the non-UK web sites to be useful as reference but by the time you have added the delivery and VAT (which is normally higher than in the UK) then the UK suppliers are normally competitive. Add to that the shorter delivery times and being able to discuss things then I normally order from the UK even if it does mean calling up on the phone.
If that wasn't enough persuasion just consider that even if it costs a little more then investing in the local suppliers may actually be a good idea if it helps keep them in business and they in turn help keep more of these cars running in this country. |
