Default How hard would it be to +T a B6254?

Just read the thread on +T’ing a B200 and though “hmmm...”
I have a 965 manual with 170bhp (appparently), but it’s sluggish when compared to my old 940 2.3 LPT (@13psi) I used to have.

How hard would it be to +T the 2.5 straight 6? It’s silky smooth but I miss boost - a lot.

I know what I need (turbo, IC, manifolds, downpipe, water/pip feeds and drains), but would there be any pitfalls with ECU etc.? Could the Motornic 4.4 “LEARN” or would need a custom jobby?

Pretty sure the compression ratio of the 2.5 (10.1) is low enough to endure a bit of blowing 🤣

Cheers

It is my current project on a 3ltr. The ECU is going to need some work with fueling and ignition.

Nowhere near as simple as with a B200/230 where you can take all the stuff off a turbo model for teh swap

I've got a 2.5 block with a 3.0 crank and t5 pistons fitted so low compression if you are interested
