Black wheels remind me of how a car of mine looked when it had it's wheel trims stolen,

Default Just an opinion

Hello, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
How sporty a car "feels to the eye", as well as its body color, has a lot to do with how good painted wheels look.
Which shade/finish of black (or silver for that matter) can be pivotal.
I wouldn't think a V70 would take to black wheels.
The minimizing quality of the black color doesn't jibe with the towering boxiness of an estate wagon.

A friend's son painted the wheels of his dark green 1993 Ford Explorer black.
I thought they looked good because they were so large. That off-roader's wheelbase was so short, large chrome (megawretch) or silver wheels would've been cartoony.

If you're pleased with the results; that's all that matters. Kira
