SRS airbag Service urgent
Hi,
I'm driving my 2015 S60 when I suddenly got these warning messages: SRS Airbag Service Urgent, ESC Service Required, and City Safety Service Required. I used my OBD tool and retrieved the following error codes: ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System): U015100: Lost Communication With Restraint Control Module (General Failure Information) U002855: Vehicle Communication Bus A. System Programming Failures (Not Configured) CEM (Central Electrical Module): (Multiple errors detected) B10A202: Crash Input (General Failure Information - General Signal Failure) (List continues for all 8 CEM errors) DIM (Driver Information Module): U015100: Lost Communication With Supplemental Restraint System Module (General Failure Information) PDM (Passenger Door Module) & DDM (Driver Door Module): U020287 (PDM) & U020187 (DDM): Lost Communication with Door Control Modules (Bus Signal/Message Failures - Missing Message) CVM (Closing Velocity Module): U03004A: Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility (System Internal Failures - Incorrect Component Installed) U041568: Invalid Data Received From Brake Control Module (Algorithm Based Failures - Event Information) PSCM (Power Steering Control Module): U041592: Invalid Data Received From Brake Control Module (BCM) (Component Failures - Performance or Incorrect Operation) I checked the car thoroughly, and there are no visible signs of any collision. I found a similar post https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...302725&page=2/ on this forum suggesting replacing the SRS module. Before taking it to a Volvo garage, I wanted to see if anyone had other suggestions. Additionally: Clearing the codes doesn't fix the issue, and all the fuses seem to be okay. Please view a recent thread I posted and compare the codes, I've listed my error codes in an image and the many symbols displayed. Hope you can sort it, but my fault is not going to be cheap. The car drives fine and I've been assured it shouldn't go into a limp/safety mode, but with the red airbag symbol lit, it will fail an MOT and also should I be involved in an incident, the airbag wont deploy and ABS may not work, hence any insurance claim made following an incident would be reduced if I drove it whilst the lights are present.

a good diagnostic tool will be able to read the individual modules to find what has created the indicated fault. clear all codes drive and see what returns as said before good voltage is a must have for any volvo to avoid any misreading caused by failing voltage it is recommended to have an external power supply when using vida .
