If you fail in a Fiesta you're under no circumstances allowed back on here!

Good Luck but I'm sure you'll be fine, all that road experience you had on the scooter and now the bigger bike!

Thanks you three

Baffler, at your comment

Laney, yeah ive got quite a bit of experience, but also ive had quite a lot of time to get into bad habits

John, Ta!

Ive kinda lost some confidence after failing my mock - 1. I didnt check over my shouler for a 2nd time half way through the reverse corner, and 2. I had to go round the busiest roundabout I know of in the local area, and I pulled up even though it was clear, realised I shouldnt have done, and then panicked and pulled away in 2nd therefore ending up slowing a transit down.

If I fail, ill do it again. If I pass, ill insure my car and probably get kicked out of home...nevermind.

Steve

Steve, the examiner will be looking to see how confident you are behind the wheel not how clever you are at reversing around a corner or doing a three point turn. Turn up for your test relaxed and confident, if you make a mistake don't think you have failed, I have never taken a driving lesson in my life and on my test I started to pull out from the side of the road and nearly got taken out by another learner driver, I still passed my test.
Stay cool, be confident and don't get worked up or worried, you will be ok.
Good luck.

And if you did fail, which I'm sure you won't, look on the bright side, this woman has failed her test 771 times!

Good luck indeed. Having said that, all the best people pass second time, and fail the first not on a 'major' but a 'dangerous' fault.

Or, as I like to put it, the examiner was a gimp who didn't seem to understand that when a biker appears at double the limit perfectly in line with the thick A-pillar on the instructors car, there's no way in hell I'm going to see it before he does...

Observation is the key. If you head isn't constantly wagging between every mirror you can see (even enough you can look at them all without moving your head...), there'll be trouble!

cheers

James
