Default child seat fitting disabling airbag

hi
we have a baby on the way soon and i was wondering if their is any way to disable the front passenger airbag so i can fit a child seat?

I know on modern cars there is a switch to disable the airbag on the edge of the dashboard visible by opening the passenger door.

Only my humble opinion, but the back seat of a Volvo particularily the V70 is the safest place in any car for a baby.

Better still if you can get a lie flat carry cot positioned in the middle of the rear seats.

If you dont have isofix then volvo will sell you isofix anchors for about £20. well worth the money

Would they fit a 1998 V70 ?
