The National Best Kept Volvo 2006
Lakeland Estate, Rutland Water. BKV 18th June 2006.
The National BKV 2006 will be taking place at the Lakeland Estate on the southern shores of Rutland Water. This is a wonderful flat site that is very convenient for the A1 and the A14. Details of all the arrangements will be published in The Driver and made available on the web site as they are confirmed. Last edited by IC; Jun 16th, 2006 at 07:58. |

What exactly happens at the National Rally? I won't be entering my car in the BKV (I want to give everyone else a chance ) but I'm interested to know what else goes on.

Load's of fun. Auto jumble, driving tests, usually a bash on the night before, loads of great cars to look at, loads of great people to meet. The first year I went I didn't enter any of my cars and later wish I had, so turn up and join in!!!

I went to a the Austin ten drivers club show a few years ago (I have a 1935 12/4 ascot) there was a guy with a restoration project there he his car had ten times more interest then all the other cars there put together. So the answer is put your car on display and be proud of it. Treat it as a chance for ppl to look at your car and enjoy it. |
