Default Headlamp bulb upgrade

Can anyone give me some advice on upgrading the bulbs of an XC90 SE's standard halogen headlamps (i.e. not Xenons)? It's a 2010 car.
I'm just wondering if there is an easy solution to making them a bit brighter and if there are any costs (other than the cost of the new bulbs themselves!)?

Thanks,
Tom

Thank you both. I'll have a look.

Have you had any issues with durability, given that our driving lights are on all the time?

I used Nightbreakers on my old XC70 and found them to be much better than the standard bulbs. Durability was not a particular problem, they lasted at least a couple of years.

Thanks for that 60041.

Does anyone have any experience and views on the Philips VisionPlus or Xtreme Vision bulbs?
