I just did a check on VOSA.
Put in Jan 2016 - Sept 2016 for the XC90 and there are no recalls. http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp?tx tem.

Manufacturers are much quicker/more likely to issue recall notices in the US because of the litigation culture and prevalence of class action law suits. |

All depends on the path of the drain pipe.
US market is LHD and pipe may take a different route on RHD vehicles. Time will tell. tem.

I have just this minute, spoken to my dealer and this recall does affect UK 2016 XC90s!!
He says it is an URGENT recall! ,and has booked me in for next Tuesday. Apparently the information came to them yesterday and the DVLA website does not have it yet.. |

I wonder if recent factory builds are okay (seeing as my new car is arriving next week).
I'll ask the dealer. |
