I've just bought a 2002 T6 and the airbox needs replacing as where the top section clamps onto the bottom box there's a gap due to no straight edges lining up. Is there any way of sealing this gap. I think if I sealed the gap the paper filter would still not be clamped down tight so would let dirty air into the engine. Any ideas?
Alternative is to get a s/h box ebay but then too much wiring and fiddly bits to do job myself. |

That’s odd.... the spongy rubbery surround of the filter element acts as a gasket to seal the top & bottom of the air box.
