Default Can I easily retro fit front fog lights?

Is it as simple as buying 2x front fog lights, a new interior light switch and adding a relay/fuse? Are the loom and connectors already in place behind the bumper?

Do I have to take the bumper off to fit the fog lights?

Has anyone done this?

From what ive read you will need a CEM that is programmed for the fog lights. i think Gatos did this or certianly proved it. Either that or you add the parts then get Volvo to reprograme it.

Yes you need a CEM from a car that had fog lights. What I would do is to fit the lights and the new switch and see if it works. If it doesn't, then you will need to source a CEM. I have a spare switch if you are interested

Hey up,

Yes indeed, I've done this.

You'll need the fog lamps, a replacement light switch that has the front fog button (or indeed just the button from another panel) and a CEM from a car that had front fogs.

Cheers,

Daniel

Hey Gatos,

Thanks, yes, I am interested in the switch for front fogs - how much would you like for it please?

How easy is it to get hold of the CEM?

Thanks,

Andy
