Default Wheel Cleaner

Can anyone recommend a wheel cleaner suitable for diamond cut alloys. I intend to remove mine to clean them properly.

I've been using Sonax for several years now - touchless wash and it's perfectly safe for diamond cut rims: https://www.sonax.com/Products/Tyres...X-Rim-cleaner2

Auto Curators have a range of products and their wheel cleaner is exceptional.

SwissVax rebranded (I believe although it would never be confirmed). Awesome stuff.

Is it mine only or it's a common thing where the brake dust is so bad sticking on the diamond wheel? The day after I've washed and the brake dust covered it like it was never washed.

My XC90 is very industrious at making brake dust, the wheels are always covered in it, and being 10 spoke they are a pain to clean.
My dealer said that the brake calipers have more cylinders in them than my previous XC90s and are more efficient so make more dust add this to use of adaptive cruise control and pilot assist which use the brakes a lot to maintain set speed or set gap to car in front.
The dust is worse as the new brake pads bed in but still very dusty after 10k miles.

In short yes its bad and sticks to my silver wheels as well.

I'm into car detailing and paint correction etc. The best wheel cleaner I have found to date is Bilt Hamber auto wheels, this is non acidic and works a charm even in winter when our Dales roads have a thick emulsion of road salt on them. I can't find anything as good , a little expensive ,but I really don't use anything else cleaning wise on my wheels.
Diamond cut wheels are difficult to keep free of the dreaded wheel worm, We have a 4 yr old Kia Sportage which is a work horse, I sealed it's diamond wheels with Gtechniq C5 , and clean with either Valet -pro Billberry wheel cleaner , which is quite economical, or the Volvo's Bilt Hamber, and the wheels are still worm free, and the black paint on them is perfect.

3 of mine got wheel worm at 18 months old (20k miles). Volvo agreed to a free refurb or option of 40% off brand new replacements. I went for the refurb. They look beautiful now. Just use Carplan shampoo and now use Autoglym alloy wheel sealer.
