Default Parts wanted for Metallic Red 440 GLT

Hi, I had a run in with a deer, unfortunately, and caused a considerable amount of damage to my 440. It will cost too much to have someone repair it, so I am looking for some parts to do it myself.

I am looking for a bonnet, drivers side wing, front bumper, and drivers side headlight unit. I am willing to get either the individual parts or a whole car, with the same colour to source the parts.

Theoretically the car isn't worth it, but with less than 42K on the clock, and having spent most of its life in a garage, it is to me.

Does anyone know where I can source these parts, or of anyone that has a 440 they are looking to sell on?

Thanks.

Its a mrk 2.

Thank you everyone for your willingness to help. Yes I have tried ebay, will keep trying and the scrapyards. I have found a green one, that might have to do, just trying to keep the cost down by avoiding respraying the parts.

Default 440 Parts

Really sorry to hear about your mishap - I know exactly what you mean about the value of the car to you as against a purely money value; I'd want to do the same for my 480.

I might be able to help - my local scrap yard had (abut 4 weeks ago when I was last there) a burgundy/red metallic 440 (M plate I think) which I presume is the colour you need. I have no idea about condition as I only glanced at it as I walked by to a different car, but as far as I remember it was pretty much complete.

I'm quite happy to go and have a look (can't do so for a few days though, sorry) and let you know about it. The only issue then is what you'd want to do from there - you, I see, are in Newton Abbot and I (and the scrap yard) are just north of York....

Anyay, let me know if you'd like me to investigate for you.

Cheers

David
