No beep when roof operated
Hi all,
The manual for my C70 says the windows should drop slightly while operating the roof and there should be a beep or chime when the roof has finished opening or closing, mine does neither. The roof seems to be working fine, and I've only closed it once when the windows were all down but I'm pretty sure the windows all came up when the roof had finished. Is this something to worry about and if it is wrong any ideas what I should be looking for? Thanks

Next time I try it I will listen a bit harder then, although I am pretty sure there is no beep. It doesn't beep if you open the door and you've left the side lights on either. Our V70 beeps if you do that so I would have expected this to as well, could that be linked at all? Presumably there is a little speaker somewhere for the beeps, anyone know where that is so I can investigate further if needed?

the c70 wont beep if the lights are on and the door opened with ignition off or on as none of the classic X70 series have that function out the factory

I'm really bad for leaving lights on, I'll have to watch it or I'll be stuck somewhere with a flat battery!

As long as you leave the lights on permanently as soon as you remove the key the lights will go off its only when there on the 1st click they will stay on with the ignition off.
