Has anyone else got this problem with radio set up, My V40 on start up has the volume level at a very low setting, this means every time I get in the car I have to lift the volume level. I have never owned a vehicle that did not hold the last audio level set, took it to dealers who said they had sorted problem but on checking they had set speed compensation to max ?. obviously this did nothing to cure problem. cant find a setting for this anywhere on system any one know how to set this.

If the volume was less than 12 bars at switch off the volume returns to the level it was before the car went into sleep mode .

sleep mode is when you turn the engine off and listen in the car for 10 minutes or so , then the radio shuts down ...

Ok thanks for that, think that I'm stuck with this very low volume as it looks like about 12 bars on volume display on start up. But as I say it is a very low volume.
