General: 70: Buy an S90 or S70

I am looking to buy an S70 recently but saw an S90 SE on sale.

1997 S70, 2435cc, 185,000KM
1998 S90 SE, 2922cc, 240,000 KM

Same price, S90 is the top model with all the features and S70 is a standard non turbo.

Having checked the specification, S90 has most of the features superior to S70 but with an old generation engine and old design (although I doubt 99% people will notice the "different" style).

Cannot decide which one to go. I don't really care about the performace, only after a comfort and lunxury car.

Even though I'm an S70 owner myself, I'd say S90 without a doubt.

The engine is from the same 'modular' block as the S70, it just has an extra cylinder. It is also a very good unit and I would have no hesitation in singing its praises.

If economy played absolutely no part in the decision then I'd seriously consider the S90..as much as I like the S70.
I noticed what looks to be a little cracker (S90) on eBay..down in Cornwall..but he ain't letting it go cheap.!!!

My choice would be a S90, 3ltr straight six, rwd, a good amount of luxury thrown in.

I have seen the S90 in Cornwall not up close looks in good condition

I would go for the S70, would have thought the S90 will be a guzzler.
No experience with the S90 but with a 3ltr engine !

LOL....Now I didn't say I would go for it in preference to my V70 did I.???....but it does look a nice car.
