Default XC 70 2008 Electrical Failure

Hi all. Been here for a while, but unfortunately this has to be my first post…
I’m in a real pickle!
I have an XC70 MY 2008 and am currently away from home in Lincolnshire with family and a caravan.
Went to lock car yesterday via remote and doors wouldn’t lock. Checked remote battery and ok, checked car battery and seemed ok (only have small MM with me). Car wouldn’t start with remote in vehicle but will start and run with fob in dash.
Once running, main dash display, windows, central locking, radio, and all waterfall functions are dead. All lights are ok and car seems to drive ok.
I suspect CEM issue and have checked all main CEM fuses that again seem ok. Have tried contacting local dealer, Indy and auto electricians and all fully booked and can’t help, leaving me stuck!
My question is, is does this potentially sound like a CEM problem, and if it is or isn’t are there any other checks I can carry out myself?

Many thanks

Rob

Other than disconnect the battery for 10 minutes or so then try again, i don't know. Hope you get it fixed quickly.

I had a very similar issue years ago on a 2006 S60.

It was the driver's door control module at fault.

Did it rain heavily the night before?, is your carpet wet?, has your windscreen become unstuck at the top corner letting water in , and running down on to the electrics? Try pushing top right hand corner of screen and see if it moves away from the body of the car? Or do you have a sunroof? Are the drains blocked? Similar to above.

Yes! Massive thunderstorm the night before. I have had water ingress in the past but sealed the windscreen as best I could but am pretty sure that it still leaks to a degree.
Did check for moisture but didn’t find anything obvious, but pretty certain something is still getting in though
