Hello and thank you for reading this message.
The boot cigarette lighter socket has stopped working. The normal cigarette lighter by the handbrake is working fine. The boot socket has been used for a tyre inflator compressor over 18 months intermittently. Now the socket has just stopped working. Any ideas? Thank you! |

Check the fuse is my first thought.
There must be something online to tell you which one it is. Edit: there you go. http://www.volvohowto.com/volvo-s40v...-and-amperage/ Last edited by eagle58; Nov 2nd, 2021 at 23:38. |

Thank you for your reply!
Just got round to looking at the issue. Yes, was just the fuse. I had started off thinking there was a wiring issue behind the socket because I had been using a compressor frequently. But the compressor turned out to have a short. Thank you again. |
