144DL 1972 - sadly for sale
All, my 144DL auto is up for sale. Some of you may know it already...
Been sitting on the drive for too long (just way too much work and too little time) and it's time to let her go to someone that will use it! All the good honest bits here: Basically a sound car, in 70's tastic orange, black vinyl interior The brakes WILL need freeing off/attention The MoT if not out, will be very soon It has a perspex side front main window (no idea either) Exhaust is tired and non-standard It has a tow bar (!) Recent new plugs Not running at present, but last time I changed the condensor/points and off it went again - I wonder if I have a dodgy coil? I have a 240GLT black leather interior - not fitted 5 Virgo's with recent (decent) part worns Exempt from VED Needs love and attention - and it hurts to see her looking at me when I come home at night. I don't want to break it - and really don't want the eBay hassle. I have around a thousand sunk into it - so please no "50 quid" offers - but let me know what people think as to value and how best to move onto a new owner? Thanks for reading Ben |
