Torque pro and ELM327
I don't possess VIDA/DICE as yet so am playing with Torque pro and an ELM327.
Today I set it up to the car and watched it relay all sorts of info it had gleaned from the cars sensors. All very interesting to me. About 100 metres from my Mum's house the car suddenly briefly braked itself. I thought I had hit something. Then the EML came on and "DSTC service required" on the display. I stopped and restarted and all was well. This evening, driving to the shop, the engine hesitated twice whilst driving but did not stop. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree for a few seconds. Scanned it and no faults. After a Google, I found the problem is quite common on Volvo cars. So beware of using Torque Pro and ELM 327 whilst driving. It seems okay for basic fault scanning and clearing of faults. I think I will be buying VIDA/DICE when I see one at a good price 👍👍👍
