Default Paint restoration

My 1999 S40's paintwork is very tired looking - it's been through countless car washes over its 7 years with us - I can't ever remember hand washing it

I'm just too lazy to put the effort in to T-Cut it myself - 'cause if I did, I just know the elbow grease levels would start off high initially - and plummet as the hours went by

Has anyone used a valeting company who offer paint restoration and, if so, were you happy with the results? I assume that once the paintwork is back to a decent condition it would be easier to maintain it. [assumes that elbow grease is still not avoidable!!]

A quick google gave me this company Clean-Image. They are not local to me, but the services offered are probably what my car needs.

My car is that weird Volvo colour of Tropical Lime - [aka Mustard or Bronze - NOT green as indicated in the log book]. What possesses Volvo to pick such obscure descriptions!!

So, who has had their car done and would recommend it?

Cheers

Homer
