We have 3 Volvo's and may well stay with the name. Very scared of later models that limit DIY work but maybe my limited knowledge is the biggest factor for now.
One reason for sticking to Volvo is this Forum and the affordability of a 2nd hand Volvos in New Zealand where the "Word Is" they are expensive to maintain. Of course Mercs and Jags are no cheaper but they seem to hold their value more - hence we buy Volvo. We get parts from the UK at half the price they are available in NZ or Aust and maybe just as quick. Nice to drive a car that is not "Common". In NZ anyway. We can wave to Volo drivers. Try this with other brands and you would end up with a limp rist. |
