100K+ Premier Member Last Online: Yesterday 22:30 Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Newcastle	Volvo Warranty - Good Buy??? In the New Year I'm taking delivery of a new V70 D5 Manual. I'm considering taking the £500 three year service contract and also the Volvo extended warranty. I had a P1 (Audi 5 pot diesel) which needed a replacement top engine and diesel pump when the timing belt snapped at 75K and currently run two P2's, a 237K T5,which has never been a pick of bother and a 90k V70 AWD R. Both had Volvo extended warranty, which saved me a fortune on the R (New bevel gear, Dual mass flywheel, clutch, two 4C suspension struts and various sensors) The more complex the car the more appears to go wrong and cost more to replace I expect to do approx. 10k/year so new car warranty will age expire before mileage. Comments/ suggestions appreciated Cheers Bob
