nookie XC70 New Member Last Online: Dec 23rd, 2015 17:11 Join Date: Dec 2015 Location: Spalding	XC70 whining rear diff. I have a 2010 XC70 AWD, the bearings in the rear diff were so noisy that I have had to have it replaced today, the car had only covered 74,000 miles, and I was shocked and dissapointed that the diff should fail so soon, has anyone suffered the same problem with such a low mileage car? The car has a full Volvo service history and after many letters and emails Volvos final offer is 20% contribution towards parts and labour, very poor! This is my first and by the looks of it my last Volvo!
