ETM Issues Discuss issues regarding the problems with ETMs fitted to Volvo cars.

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Wardair Guest Location:	This really is Progress Whilst I support the sentiments expressed here that this (poorly designed) faulty part should be replaced FoC, it is a major step forward that VCUK have decided to reduce the cost of the replacement (refurbished?) ETM's. The cynical side of me says they have pitched the price at a level that will deter anyone seeking legal redress through the small claims court which costs £150 to initiate (this is recoverable if you win) but most people will opt to pay their dealer. This is real progress and if it is a national policy it is excellent if a little late! However, if the car is low mileage then it should be replaced FoC. I am also very pleased to see that all the ETM threads are now in one place on the forum - well done to whoever arranged this. Wardair
