"Oil Service Required" Message

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

K5 Gus Senior Member Last Online: Nov 1st, 2023 12:47 Join Date: Aug 2014 Location: Perthshire	"Oil Service Required" Message "Oil service required" This warning has been popping up on the dash of my D4 V60 the last couple of days when I start her up. Just checked the manual, and it says I should visit a workshop, the oil level may be too high. ( there seems to be a separate message if level too low "Oil level low" which I've not seen ). The thing is the last service was 10 months ago ( and about 8000 miles ), so how could there suddenly be too much oil in there ?
