Hi,
yesterday our Volvo V50 2 litre diesel 55 reg went into what I presume is limp mode (it won't go above 2800 revs) We took it to our regular garage and they couldn't find any faults, told us to take it to the Volvo garage.
Money being tight we'd like to know if there are any obvious things we should look at first.
It is reluctant to start in very cold or damp weather and occasionally feels a little bit lumpy under acceleration for a second and then recovers.
Also are there any diagrams anywhere which would tell us where everything is?

Thankyou
