Default Volvo Carpets, Better Than The Rest?

Now, I'm not entirely sure if this topic should be in this section or in the Lounge and Introductions section, but I thought this section was more appropriate.

This is something that a very small number of people I've ever spoken to have ever noticed or considered, but as a self-employed car valeter I have noticed this a lot; The carpets and mats in Volvos, old or new, are bloody brilliant.

I cleaned a 2 year old V40 XC this past week for a regular customer (who's had me clean a Fiat 500 and a Skoda Yeti in the past). What I noticed is just how much easier the car was to clean than, well, every other car I've tried.

Skodas are by far the worst in my experience with velcro-like carpets holding in every bit of dust, dirt and fluff. The aforementioned Yeti took 40 minutes of vacuum cleaning and still looked frankly not very good. 15 minutes in the V40 and it was quite literally spotless. He was a dog owner as well! In my experience the only car that came close for easiness of cleaning was a year-old Range Rover.

So in short, Volvo has very nice carpets compared to other cars of all price ranges. Yes this is such a trivial and OCD thing to birng up, but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

As a side-note, I must say the quality of exterior paint-finish is of a very high standard, as well.
