CLIVERALLY Master Member Last Online: May 28th, 2024 18:49 Join Date: May 2010 Location: wetherby	Volvo P1800 B18 metallic tick noise OK, re my previous post I have had chance to have a good butchers at my car to find the source of an odd tick / ping sound. I have removed the rocker cover and run the car. The noise which is not on all the time seems to be coning from No 5 tappet , pushrod side. Could it be a sticking follower ? __________________ Clive "Lets turn up the juice and see what shakes loose"
