Spark plugs
Hi all,
After owning my Torslanda for a few months I decided it was time for a light service, so changed oil and filter and ordered a set of BPR6ES plugs from ECP. The oil and filter change didn't make much difference but the plugs that came out were BPR6E units with a grooved electrode...I've never seen those in a Redblock, but didn't think anything of it. However, the engine is FAR more sprightly with the standard BPR6ES plugs, really punchy and driveable. Why would the previous BPR6E plugs be used? The car was cammed by the previous owner (it was a courtesy car for an indie Volvo garage for 20+yrs so presumably they had the bits to hand) and the engine, at 125k, has been meticulously maintained and is sweet as a peach. Absolutely lovely car to drive.
