As yours is the cabrio the other possibility is the windows/roof control module - as you raise or lower the roof, the windows are supposed to drop around 3 to 5cm,. A module faulty can fully drop the windows on opening/closing the roof as well as stalling the roof opening/closing.
The other thing to consider is the state of charge and the general condition of the battery including corrosion on the terminals & earths.
When my old 850's battery going towards flat, turning the key to position 1 or 2 would fully drop all four windows.
