Alarm Module Replacement
So I am getting alarm system malfunction appearing on my dash every time I turn the ignition on. Vida says the module battery is the problem but it was replaced months ago and was initially OK. I am wondering if it is not charging the cells? Either way I am taking it off the car tomorrow to have another look at it and get the part number from the case so I can find a replacement on line somewhere and not pay the huge overpriced amount Volvo want for it. Does anyone know if any firmware specific to different years or models needs to be loaded or does any alarm module with the same part number work?
6G9N-19G229-DE Seems to be universal part number for it on ebay. 1 Sensor 1.00 31419000 IMS 2 Siren, without inclination sensor 1.00 30659413 CH -302872 Siren, without inclination sensor 1.00 30659882 CH 302873- Siren, with inclination sensor 1.00 30659414 CH -302872 Siren, with inclination sensor 1.00 30659883
