Just a quick prompt for any new visitors in the future who also have a misted up headlight.
I've owned my S80 for about 9 wks and it's had moisture in the DS headlight unit for the last few wks. I'd anticipated having to re-seal the glass but from reading on here about the Goretex strips in the removable bulb covers I thought I'd take a look - neither of mine did, but I decided to leave both off for a while to see if it cleared the condensation... fast forward a couple of hours and it was gone! Covers replaced and it's not come back in the past week. So if your car headlights are suffering similar, try this simple test before hitting the sealant. HTH someone
